The
Design Phase Includes:
- Identification
of the client's goals and objectives for the new Web site
- Identification
of the target audience
- Review
of any visual elements, color schemes, styles or copy from the
client's existing marketing materials that may be used or adapted
for the Web
- Specification
of the primary action the client hopes the target user will
take before leaving the site
- Development
of a site map to show layout and function of all pages
- Brainstorming
to explore various design directions or "looks" for
the site
- Creation
of a protosite or rough draft for client review and approval
- Testing/proofing/fine-tuning
the site
- Installation
of site files on the host Web server of the client's choice.
(Web hosting and Domain registration fees are not included in
the design cost.)
