The
purpose of marketing is to get people to look at your Web
site. If the content is interesting and the domain name is
descriptive that's a start.
You
may wish to distribute the address of your site by printing
it on business cards, brochures, stationery, and advertisments.
The
designer's job includes the layout of text on the main page
so that it can be easily cataloged by Spiders, search engine
robot programs which crawl the Internet looking for new sites.
Another
aspect of design is making sure that appropriate keywords
and a description of your site are included in the <META>
tags imbedded in the code for your site.
